Love the Guppies but this is disappointing
My son absolutely loves Bubble Guppies, and I like it too. It is extremely colorful and the songs are so cute! I am extremely disappointed in this dvd. For the price, I certainly wasn't expecting two seasons (or even one) but I expected something like the other Nickelodeon dvd's at this price point...6-8 episodes. I can't believe I only got 2 episodes, and the movie that they show quite frequently on tv. (The only good part of the movie is Wanda Sykes voicing the witch) It is just not as cute as the regular shows. I feel like I got ripped off. They should have marketed this as the movie with extra features, instead of making it seem like it was a compilation of episodes.
Disappointing and misleading
My son loves the Bubble Guppies. Part of this was my fault. Even though the DVD never actually said season 1 or 2, or anything of that nature, I shouldn't have assumed that that is in fact what it would cover. Instead, a very sorry movie is on it with two television episodes. Please read all of the information before ordering this DVD. If you want the movie, then by all means, purchase the DVD but if you wanted the episodes, and more than just two and some karaoke mess at the end, then I'd advise against this. I hope that they come out with an actual season episode DVD because this was a waste of money. He isn't even watching it. He couldn't stand the movie when it came on air and nothing has changed and quite frankly, the movie doesn't have the same 'magic' as the episodes. It is different, noticeably so.
5 Stars Show Gets 1 Star Treatment
Bubble Guppies is wonderful, and my son loves the show. However, this collection is puny and pathetic. All this time with no Bubble Guppies media release and this is what 'Nick' puts out is just sad.
7 Episodes from Season 2 have been aired. 20 episodes were aired for Season 1.
We receive 3 episodes on DVD - Disgraceful.
Hopefully, a Blu-ray full season(s) release will follow, if not, at least full season(s) DVD releases. The show gets 5 stars. This release gets 1 star; hence, the "3" rating.
Additionally, the one-hour special "Fin-tastic Fairytale" [Episode 24 from season 1] should have been in widescreen format as broadcasted on TV. Newer episodes are in widescreen as well. The remaining episodes included, if the source was not in widescreen, it leaves full-screen as acceptable (And unfortunately the only option). However, the aforementioned should have definitely been in widescreen format, or at least the option to choose between...
