Docked a star for bitterness.
Typically funny, but laced throughout with far too many bitter divorce "jokes", which dampens the fun. Leave the bitterness to Walter who can do it with humor. The segment with Peanut, Jose, and Little Jeff is the standout.
Once again, Amazon, why all the reviews from people who have never seen this DVD? Reviews from fans written months before the release date are useless and dishonest.
Pleasantly Surprised though I shouldn't be
I am a big fan of Jeff Dunham, and I own every single DVD special he has ever come out with. The last special was disappointing. Some jokes were old or reused in a different and unfunny way. I was starting to think Jeff couldn't come up with anything new. -- Then, "Minding the Monsters" came out. I nearly peed myself several times. All the jokes and stories in this special were new, fresh, and totally funny. The theme is simple -- All of Jeff's characters were given a Halloween theme that best suited them. Walter dressed as Frankenstein, Bubbja J was a One-toothed vampire, Peanut arrived in a Batmobile-type car and appeared as "Bat-nut" with Jose' Jalepeno portraying his version of Robin (which he called Reuben) as well as Peanut's dummy Little Jeff, who was dressed as the Batman villain "The Riddler" (except instead of question marks all over a green outfit, there were little L's all over because Peanut called him, 'Loser-man'), and finally Achmed the Dead Terrorist decked...
He's baaaaaaaaack!
Yes! New Jeff Dunham DVD! I got to go to the taping in Georgia a few months back and it was awesome! Can't wait!!!
